Auto start

To restart the engine from idle stop mode

Manual Transmission

Press the clutch pedal when the shift lever is in the N (Neutral) position.

NOTICE

After the vehicle has stalled, the engine starts if you operate as shown below:

  1. Release the clutch pedal after the engine is completely stopped.

  2. Depress the clutch pedal.

Automatic Transmission/Intelligent Manual Transmission/Intelligent Variable Transmission/Dual Clutch Transmission

In case Auto Hold is not activated:

  • Release the brake pedal.

The engine will start and the AUTO STOP indicator () on the instrument cluster will be white.

  • In case Auto Hold is activated:

    • Release the brake pedal and press the accelerator pedal in the D (Drive) position. The engine will restart and the AUTO STOP indicator () on the instrument cluster will be white.
