Kia Tasman Online Order Reservation Platform
Terms & Conditions



1.1. Before making a reservation via the Platform, you must carefully read and agree to these Terms & Conditions, and Kia’s Privacy Policy, which can be accessed here.

 

1.2. Reservations are only available to Australian residents aged 18 years and over.

 

1.3. Kia may choose not to accept a reservation for any reason.

 

 

2. Deposits

 

2.1. In making a reservation via the Platform, you will be required to pay a $500 reservation deposit.

 

2.2. Kia will hold the deposit in trust for you until:

 

a) You and the Kia Dealer you select sign a sales contract for the vehicle, following which the $500 deposit amount will be deducted from the final purchase price owed; or

 

b) Your reservation is cancelled (by you or Kia), following which the deposit will be refunded to you.

 

 

3. Cancellation of a reservation

 

3.1. You or Kia can cancel your reservation (and refund the deposit) at any time prior to you and the Dealer signing the sales contract.

 

3.2. A cancellation can be made by contacting your selected dealer, or Kia directly (via email at [email protected], or via telephone at 131 KIA).

 

3.3. All deposit refunds will be issued to the same credit card account as used to make payment of the deposit.

 

3.4. Kia will use a third-party gateway provider to process the payment of your deposit. Kia will not store your credit card details.

 

 

4. Purchase and collection of the Tasman from the Dealer

 

4.1. Kia is not selling the reserved Tasman to you and is not a party to the interactions or transactions between you and the Dealer (save for facilitating a refund of your deposit where applicable).

 

4.2. Kia makes no representations or warranties about the accuracy of any statements or information provided to you by the Dealer concerning the Tasman or any other Kia product or service.

 

4.3. Delivery of the reserved Tasman will occur at your selected Dealer. If you wish to arrange a different delivery method, please discuss this with the Dealer. Additional charges may apply.

 

4.4. Reservations are not transferrable or assignable to any other person.

 

 

5. Privacy

 

5.1. By making a reservation via the Platform, you are consenting to Kia collecting your contact and order details and sharing them with the selected Dealer, to facilitate your purchase of the reserved Tasman.

 

 

6. Limit of Liability

 

6.1. In offering the Platform, Kia makes no representations or guarantees as to:

 

a) The timing of delivery of the reserved Tasman. If there is a delay, you are entitled to cancel the reservation and receive a full refund of your deposit at any time prior to you and the Dealer signing a sales contract for the reserved Tasman; and

 

b) The final purchase price of the reserved Tasman, which will be determined by the Dealer.

 

6.2. To the extent permitted by law, Kia excludes all liability for any loss sustained (including any damage, claim, injury, cost or expense, including loss of opportunity) as a result of or in connection with the Platform and these Terms & Conditions.

The whole new levels of peace of mind
At speeds of 20 km/h or higher, BCW alerts you if a vehicle enters your blind spot, even when you are in the process of changing lanes. LED warnings flash on the door mirror and an audio warning is emitted when you signal to make a lane change.
