APPLICATIONS

Application Process

The Kia Apprenticeship Programme application consists of six steps. Throughout the recruitment process you will be provided with a dedicated recruitment consultant who will support you every step of the way, providing useful feedback and advice throughout your application journey.

  • STEP 1 -

    APPLY ONLINE



    Within 24hrs of submitting your application, you will be contacted by your dedicated recruitment consultant who will confirm with you if you are eligible for the Kia Apprenticeship Programme.

  • STEP 2 -

    ASSESSMENT



    Within 24hrs of submitting your application, you will be contacted by your dedicated recruitment consultant who will confirm with you if you are eligible for the Kia Apprenticeship Programme.

  • STEP 3 -

    INTERVIEW



    Upon successful completion of your initial assessments you will be matched with a Kia dealership local to you that is seeking to recruit an apprentice in your chosen field. Once you have been matched to the appropriate dealership you will be invited to attend an interview with a Kia Service Manager.

  • STEP 4 -

    2ND INTERVIEW/
    WORK TRIAL



    If you are successful during your initial interview, you will be shortlisted and invited to attend a second interview and/or work trial by the Kia Service Manager within 5 working days.

  • STEP 3 -

    DECISION



    You will be contacted by your recruitment consultant within 72 hours of your second interview informing you if your application has been successful in securing the apprenticeship position.

  • STEP 6 -

    ENROLLMENT



    If you have been successful in securing your chosen apprenticeship position your Kia Service Manager will agree your employment start date and induction schedule. You will also be informed of your apprenticeship induction date with Skillnet.

Information for applicants and parents

If you are under the age of 18, your parent(s) or carer(s) are welcome to be involved as part of the recruitment process, including listening to information, advice, and guidance calls with your recruitment consultant. Parent(s) or carer(s) are also encouraged to attend the first stage interview for additional support and to understand the working environment and how your apprenticeship will be delivered.
