Introducing DriveWise: Kia’s new sub-brand dedicated to advanced driving assistance technologies. This brand new platform will enable us to introduce intelligent safety and convenience innovations to our range over the coming years.
These assistance features are designed to protect everyone in your vehicle, as well as pedestrians and other drivers and make driving and parking a more relaxing and pleasurable experience — so you can focus on making your journey an inspiring one.
DRIVING SAFETY
DriveWise includes smart technologies that keep you out of trouble when out on the road.

Forward Collision Avoidance Assist
Forward Collision Avoidance Assist 1
(FCA) uses camera and radar data to a assess the road around you. By signaling a warning, and automatically applying maximum brake power, it helps you avoid collisions with cyclists, pedestrians, and other vehicles.
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist is available on all Kia models but functionality will vary.
Lane Assistance
To keep you safe and alert when driving long distances, many of our Kia vehicles come with lane assistant features.
Blind Spot Assistance
It's called a blind spot for a reason. So to assist you in high traffic situations, we offer a number of features that give you the added visibility, and therefore the confidence, to make that manoeuvre more safely.
Beam Assistance
Driving at night can mean reduced visibility, so it's important we help all road users to see where they're going. Most of the Kia range comes with intelligent lighting that adapts to your environment - making it safer for you and others.
High Beam Assist
Automatically switches between high and low beam headlights by sensing streetlights and oncoming vehicles — ensuring the best possible visibility without dazzling other drivers.

DRIVING CONVENIENCE
We have developed a number of assistance features to make long-distance motorway driving more comfortable and enjoyable, leaving you feeling refreshed and inspired when you reach your destination.
PARKING SAFETY
Improved visibility to help you make tricky manoeuvres more safely. Our parking assistance features give you a better view of your surroundings, alert you to potential impacts and give you peace of mind when navigating your way into a challenging spot.
Safe Exit Assist
If an occupant opens the rear door the Safe Exit Assist system will issue a warning and will lock the doors if it senses an approaching vehicle.

PARKING CONVENIENCE
Let your vehicle do the hard work with our advanced parking technologies that can take control and park the car for you.

(1) Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA)
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) is an assistance system and does not relieve the driver from their responsibility to safely operate the vehicle at any time. The driver still has to adapt their driving behaviour to their personal driving capabilities, to the legal requirements and to the overall road and traffic conditions. FCA is not designed to drive the vehicle autonomously. For further information, please refer to the owner’s manual.
