Access to all is one of the high priorities for Kia and it strives to ensure all users with different abilities are able to interact and consume the digital content for their specific needs
This accessibility statement applies to websites for all the regions in Europe.
General Description Of The Service
This website provides information about Kia’s vehicles, services, dealership network, and company updates. It is designed to offer seamless and inclusive experience for all users, including those with disabilities.
The website features sections on Kia’s latest models, electric and hybrid vehicles, retailer locations, customer support tools, services like Kia Drive, and news about the brand.Accessibility is at the heart of our digital product development process
We understand that Accessibility is not just a requirement but very essential for people with different abilities and helpful for all. It is not just a checklist item to be ticked. But something close to our heart and part of everything we do to build accessible digital products.
Our Website follows the EN 301 549 and WCAG 2.1 AA standards. We are actively working to address full integration of the standards.
The following parts of this Website are not fully accessible:
- some sections of the pages are not fully keyboard accessible
- some images do not have good alternative text
- some PDF documents are not fully accessible
- some elements on the pages have insufficient colour contrast
This statement will be revised upon the completion of full integration.

The website is structured to ensure easy navigation and accessibility. WCAG criteria that the website meets, the most important features you should be able to access are:
- WCAG criterion “1.3.4 – Orientation”: The site works in both portrait and landscape views
- WCAG criterion “1.4.12 – Text Spacing”: Text remains readable even with increased spacing.
- WCAG criterion “2.4.5 – Multiple Ways”: Users can navigate using different methods such as menus and footer links.
- WCAG criterion “3.1.1 – Language of Page”: The default page language is defined
- WCAG criterion “3.2.3 – Consistent Navigation”: Consistent navigation is provided across all pages
- WCAG criterion “3.2.4 – Consistent identification”: All components on the website are identified consistently
Non-Accessible Content
Despite our best efforts to ensure the accessibility of our website, we are aware of some limitations, which we are working to fix. WCAG criteria for which the website still needs improvement, 6 criteria that are not present, the most important known limitations are listed below:

- WCAG criterion “2.4.3 – Focus Order”: Focus does not follow a logical sequence
- WCAG criterion “2.4.7 – Focus visible”: Focus state not visible
- WCAG criterion “4.1.2 – Name, role, value”: Missing or incorrect ARIA roles and attributes, incorrect usage

This statement was prepared on 3rd June 2025.
This statement was prepared after evaluating our websites against standards prescribed by the European Accessibility Act which also includes WCAG 2.1 AA standard. The evaluation was done by a third-party vendor against WCAG 2.2 AA standard.
Assessment was carried out using the Website Accessibility Conformance Evaluation Methodology (WCAG-EM) approach to deciding on a sample of pages to test."
