Car Safety Recalls
Kia Safety Recalls
Is my Kia affected by a recall?
Enter your vehicle’s registration number (the letters and numbers on your number plate) using the vehicle checker. Once your vehicle is found, any recalls will be listed after the MOT details.
When is a car recall issued?
A car recall is issued when a manufacturer identifies a fault with a part, system, or feature that may pose a potential safety risk. They are typically precautionary and are designed to proactively address issues before they develop into something more serious. If there is an outstanding recall on your car you don’t need to wait for a notification from us. Contact your nearest Kia dealer as soon as possible.
Why have you received a car recall notification?
We use DVLA records to contact the registered keeper of the vehicle in the event of a recall. If you’ve had a notification from us, it means your car is affected.
