Battery status and control
With our Kia Connect app services, you can remotely start, stop and schedule charging, and see the status of your battery at a glance. Ideal to make the most of off-peak electricity prices or to know if your car has reached enough battery to go. -
Vehicle status, notifications and remote commands
Receive notifications on your app about key elements of your car such as door locks, windscreen washing fluid level and battery health. You can even lock and unlock doors remotely. What’s more, you have access to details of past trips and driving stats. -
Climate Control*
Remotely activate, set and schedule climate control so you no longer have to scrape that windscreen in winter. In addition, reaching your set temperature while the vehicle is charging helps you conserve precious driving range. *Available on EVs only.

Valet Mode
Handing your keys over to someone else? Activating the valet mode in your Kia lets you track your vehicle’s whereabouts and gives you stats about its speed, driving time and distance travelled. -
Find My Car
Connect your car and always know exactly where your Kia is parked. Let the Kia Connect app guide you to your car in confidence. Also, when parking before reaching your final destination, the app walks you the last bit of the way using Google Maps or augmented reality. -
Favourite destinations and send-to-car
Waste no time finding your destination. The favourite addresses you set in your app are replicated in your car. You can also find a destination on your phone and send it straight to your navigation system.

Kia Digital Key
Locking and unlocking.
You no longer need to fumble around for keys to access your car. To lock or unlock your Kia, just keep your smartphone in your pocket, and as you come within about a 1-meter radius, your Kia unlocks automatically.Starting your Kia.
Having your smartphone in the vehicle is all you need to start your Kia. Begin your journey by pressing the brake pedal and then the start button as usual.

How to Activate Kia Digital Key
Kia Digital Key can be easily activated through the Kia Connect App, an activation URL, or by entering an activation code.
Following the connection activation in the vehicle, you will immediately receive complete instructions in a separate email, including the activation link and code for your mobile phone.

How to share and manage your Kia Digital Key
Experience Kia Digital Key’s full potential by sharing it with multiple devices, including Apple Watch, smartphones, in addition to your own device.
If you wish to stop sharing your vehicle, you can easily terminate the shared users in the Wallet App's menu or directly in your vehicle's configuration menu.

Kia Connect Services are provided by Kia Connect GmbH, registered under the registration number HRB 112541, Theodor-Heuss-Allee 11, 60486 Frankfurt am Main.
(1) Free 7-year Kia Connect services
The Services are provided free of charge for a period of 7 years commencing on the day the vehicle is sold to the first owner of the vehicle, i.e. the point in time the initial purchase agreement becomes effective. We reserve the right to propose additional services in the future subject to separate terms of use. (2) Over-the-Air updates
For new vehicles sold from May 2021, Kia offers, per vehicle, two free-of-charge updates of the maps in the vehicle’s navigation system and of the Head Unit software using the so-called “over-the-air” method (“OTA Updates”). Once the two free-of-charge OTA Updates have been consumed, you will be able to get updates of the maps in the vehicle’s navigation system and of the Head Unit software only (i) by accessing the following web page https://update.kia.com/EU/E1/Main or (ii) at a dealership.
