Kia has entered a powerful new partnership with Geotab to bring smarter, data-driven van fleet management system (FMS), to businesses across the UK. As we expand our light commercial vehicle (LCV) offering with Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) this powerful fleet management system is built specifically to support Kia’s innovative range of all-electric vans without the need for additional hardware.
Our strategic collaboration with Geotab, a global leader in connected transportation and asset management, offers a range of data solutions to maximise fleet productivity, optimise safety and compliance while also easing the transition to electric vans.
What is van fleet management system and how does it work?
Van fleet management system is a digital system that helps businesses monitor, manage, and optimise their vans and other vehicles in real time. Our van fleet management system connects PBV’s, other vehicles, drivers, and fleet managers through integrated data services that includes real-time vehicle tracking and in-vehicle app displays.
The software shows fleet managers their vans exact location, battery status, energy usage, and driver behaviours, such as speeding or hard braking. The system, which doesn’t require extra hardware, also supports app-based tools for drivers to improve route planning and communication directly from the dashboard. With customisable data and mixed-brand compatibility, Kia’s van fleet management system can streamline daily operations, reduce cost, simplify compliance, support smarter decision-making and solutions across small and large fleets.
