It is essential that servicing is carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s requirements to maintain the integrity and reliability of your car. Your car should be serviced every 12 months* from the date of first registration or by mileage, whichever occurs soonest (mileage criteria varies by model/engine type).

As a number of components and fluids must be replaced on a time basis, e.g. replacement every 2 years, it is important that your next service therefore aligns with the anniversary of the first date of registration again.

Accordingly, the next service due date for your car is set in accordance with the original schedule and not 12 months from the date that this delayed service was completed. As well as the integrity and reliability of your car, this will also ensure that the manufacturer’s warranty is not affected by servicing requirements
