Range value refers to the new Kia e-Niro with 64kWh (long range) battery.
(2) WLTP testing
The Kia e-Niro's values have been tested in the new WLTP (Worldwide Harmonized Light vehicle Test Procedure) test cycle.
(3) Charging times
64 kWh battery/150 kW motor: fast charge in 42 minutes with a fast charger from 80 kW and above (from 20 to 80%) / normal charge in 9.5 hours (up to 100%). 39.2 kWh battery/100 kW motor: fast charge in 42 minutes with a fast charger from 50 kW and above (from 20 to 80%) / normal charge in 6.5 hours (up to 100%).
(4) 7-year battery warranty
Kia high voltage lithium ion battery-units in electric vehicles (EV), hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) are built to have a long life. These batteries are covered by the KIA warranty for a period of 7 years from initial registration or 150,000 km, whichever comes first. For low voltage batteries (48V and 12V) in mild-hybrid electric vehicles (MHEV), the Kia warranty covers a period of 2 years from initial registration regardless of mileage. For EVs only, Kia guarantees a 65% capacity of the battery. Capacity reduction of the battery in PHEV, HEV and MHEV is not covered by the warranty. (5) Speed values
The Kia e-Niro with the 64kWh battery achieves 0-100 km/h in 7.8 seconds and has a top speed of 167 km/h. When selected with the 39.2kWh, 0-100 km/h acceleration is 9.8 seconds with a top speed of 167 km/h.
(6) DRIVE WiSE technologies
DRIVE WiSE technologies are assistance systems and do not relieve the driver from his/her responsibility to safely operate the vehicle at any time. The driver still has to adapt his/her driving behaviour to his/her personal driving capabilities, to the legal requirements and to the overall road and traffic conditions. DRIVE WiSE technologies are not designed to drive the vehicle autonomously. For further information, please refer to the owner’s manual.
(8) Clari-Fi™ technology
The JBL® sound system comes with Clari-Fi™ technology. Digital information gets lost when compressing files into MP3. Clari-Fi™ technology helps to correct the lost high/low music tones and improves the music quality level.
(7) UVO CONNECT
Information and control service for your Kia; the Services will be available free of charge for a period of seven years commencing on the day the vehicle is sold to the first owner of the vehicle, i.e. the point in time the initial purchase agreement becomes effective, and may be subject to change during that period. Details of operation and terms of use can be obtained from your Kia partner and on kia.com. For UVO remote services a smartphone with iOS or Android operating system and mobile phone contract with data option necessary incurring additional cost.
(8) Kia's Connected Services powered by TomTom Live Services
The services are available free of charge for a period of seven years commencing on the day the vehicle is sold to the first owner of the vehicle, i.e. the point in time the initial purchase agreement becomes effective, and may be subject to change during that period. Details of operation and terms of use can be obtained on your vehicle’s head unit. Available On-Board Services might differ depending on your country.
(9) TomTom Speed Camera Service
Most governments and local authorities agree that the TomTom Speed Camera Service makes driving safer. TomTom complies with local legislation and, where necessary, adapts its practices.
(10) Kia Connect Remote Services
Information and control service for your Kia from your smartphone; the Services are available free of charge for a period of seven years commencing on the day the vehicle is sold to the first owner of the vehicle, i.e. the point in time the initial purchase agreement becomes effective, and may be subject to change during that period. (12) 7-year warranty
Kia lithium ion-batteries are built to have a long life. Kia guarantees 65% of the battery capacity available at the time of delivery for a period of 7 years from initial registration or 150,000 km, whichever comes first. To minimize possible capacity reduction, please consult the Owner's Manual."
(13) Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™
The Kia e-Niro is compatible with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™. Android Auto™ is designed to work with Android phones running 5.0 (Lollipop) or higher. Apple CarPlay™ is available for iPhone 5 or newer models. Both systems feature voice control and allow the driver to keep their hands on the wheel and eyes on the road ahead at all times. Apple CarPlay™ is a trademark of Apple Inc. Android Auto™ and other marks are trademarks of Google Inc.
(14) 7-year warranty

(15) Kia Connect Live Services through Smartphone Tethering

(18) 7-year map update
As part of our extensive quality promise, each new Kia vehicle that is factory-fitted with a navigation device is entitled to six free annual map updates. A unique offer that ensures your navigation system is always up-to-date. The program applies only to new Kia vehicles purchased after February 28, 2013 with factory-fitted Navigation devices. Labor fees may occur at the service point for the time allocated to perform the update. The 7 Year Map Update program provides six map updates as Kia vehicles already come with the latest available map from the factory. The warranty of the navigation system is not affected by this program. Kia does not bear the responsibility for the quality of the map data supplied by the map data supplier, HERE.
