Kia Connect App Services
Interact with your Stonic wherever you are. With the Kia Connect app, you can get the status of your car such as the distance it can travel or whether all doors are properly closed - at a glance, and you get notified if anything seems wrong. You also have access to a number of convenience features like Send To Car, which lets you select a destination on your phone and send it to your Stonic. You can also create a user profile so your preferred vehicle settings – like the orientation of the map or how your Stonic alerts you to speed cameras - apply once behind the wheel. When you park your car before arriving at your exact destination, the Kia Connect app can also provide you guidance to complete the journey on foot.

Warns about potential hazards, protects if needed.
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA)4 on the Stonic comprises a radar on the front bumper and camera on the windscreen to check for upcoming hazards such as pedestrians, cyclists or other cars. Should it detect something, it warns you and brakes automatically if necessary, to help avoid or mitigate an accident.

Safely controls your lane position at all times.
This system monitors road markings and vehicles ahead, while checking whether your car is in the centre of your lane. It warns you when the vehicle may approach the boundaries of the lane and if necessary adjusts steering to correct it and keep you centred in the lane.

Regulates both the speed and the distance to the car in front.
Using in-built radar, the Smart Cruise Control (SCC) system can regulate both speed and distance to the car in front. If the vehicle in front slows down and the predetermined safe distance cannot be maintained, the system will reduce the speed. If the vehicle ahead picks up the pace, the Stonic accelerates up to the set speed.

Keeps an eye on blind spots.
When you want to change lane, the Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW) system detects any vehicles in your blind spot and warns you. If you start to change lane whilst a car is in your blind spot, besides the audible warning the Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance (BCA) system will also automatically apply the brakes to avoid a collision (BCA is available on vehicles equipped with 7-DCT transmission)

Ideal for confident parking, PDW uses ultrasonic sensors mounted on the front and rear bumpers to warn of any obstacles in front or behind, when manoeuvring into a parking space.

Whenever you reverse into a parking space, the RVM will automatically display the rear view on your 8" LCD screen to give you better visibility behind your Stonic, along with dynamic guidelines to help guide you into place.

The Intelligent Speed Limit Warning gives you all the necessary information to help you stay within the speed limits. Using the camera on the windscreen, it reads speed limits and overtaking restrictions, and displays the information clearly on the navigation screen and cluster so you can take any action needed.

(2) Kia Connect On-Board Services
Touchscreen shown is for illustration purposes and the actual unit differs by model. The services are available free of charge for a period of seven years commencing on the day the vehicle is sold to the first owner of the vehicle, i.e. the point in time the initial purchase agreement becomes effective, and may be subject to change during that period. Details of operation and terms of use can be obtained on your vehicle’s head unit. Available On-Board Services might differ depending on your country. Smartphone with data plan required to activate Kia Connect Live Services services in countries and models without embedded telematics.
(3) Kia Connect App Services
Information and control service for your Kia from your smartphone; the Services are available free of charge for a period of seven years commencing on the day the vehicle is sold to the first owner of the vehicle, i.e. the point in time the initial purchase agreement becomes effective, and may be subject to change during that period. (4) Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA)
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) is an assistance system and does not relieve the driver from their responsibility to safely operate the vehicle at any time. The driver still has to adapt their driving behaviour to their personal driving capabilities, to the legal requirements and to the overall road and traffic conditions. FCA is not designed to drive the vehicle autonomously. For further information, please refer to the owner’s manual.
(5) Kia Connect Services
Kia Connect Services are provided by Kia Connect GmbH, registered under the registration number HRB 112541, Theodor-Heuss-Allee 11, 60486 Frankfurt am Main.
(6) Free 7-year Kia Connect services
Kia warranty covers a period of 7 years from initial registration or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. Deviations according to the valid guarantee conditions, e.g. for battery, paint and equipment, subject to local terms and conditions. For full terms and exclusions click here.
(7) Over-the-Air updates
For new vehicles sold from May 2021, Kia offers, per vehicle, two free-of-charge updates of the maps in the vehicle’s navigation system and of the Head Unit software using the so-called “over-the-air” method (“OTA Updates”). Once the two free-of-charge OTA Updates have been consumed, you will be able to get updates of the maps in the vehicle’s navigation system and of the Head Unit software only (i) by accessing the following web page https://update.kia.com/EU/E1/Main or (ii) at a dealership.
(8) 7-year warranty
Max. 150,000 km vehicle warranty. Valid in all EU member states (plus Norway, Switzerland, Iceland and Gibraltar). Deviations according to the valid guarantee conditions, e.g. for paint and equipment, subject to local terms and conditions.
