New ultra-fast battery charging
Unique to Kia. The world's first multi-channel system capable of fast charging at 800V and 400V without a separate controller makes it possible to recharge your car battery from 10 to 80 per cent in just 18 minutes. Giving you more time to spend doing the things you love. -
Innovative vehicle-to-device
Boosting outdoor adventure opportunities is the EV6’s vehicle-to-device function that seriously improves charging flexibility. An Integrated Charging Control Unit enables up to 3.6kW of power to be discharged from the vehicle’s battery, so you can power other electronics wherever you are. -
Vehicle to vehicle
Similar to the EV6's handy vehicle-to-device feature that enables you to charge electrical appliances, like torches or hair dryers, on the go, its vehicle-to-vehicle 'skill' transfers battery energy to another vehicle. So if you ever need to charge a second future-focused electric vehicle, you can. With ease. -
Heat pump technology
Kia's next-generation heat-pump-based thermal management system allows the EV6 to retain 80% of its optimal range, even down to -7 degrees celsius. The same thermal management technology works with the fast-charging system to reduce the harmful impact of that on the battery's lifespan.
New e-GMP platform
e-GMP is a dedicated battery electric vehicle (BEV) platform. BEVs based on e-GMP can give a powerful range of over 320 miles on a full charge (WLTP) and be charged up to 80% in 18 minutes. Plus, its components optimise driving dynamics and safety, and maximise space.

Highway Driving Assist 2 makes motorway driving a breeze. When engaged, it maintains you in your chosen lane, and adapts your speed based on the limit in force, the vehicle ahead of you or the curvature of the road. Turn your signal on and it helps you change lane. It also steers you away from vehicles beside you if they are drifting too close. (Grade dependent).

Remote smart park assist
Take all the hassle out of parking. The Kia EV6 can park itself, whether or not you're in it. Using surround view cameras and ultrasonic sensors, it can highlight a parking space of a suitable size and automatically steer itself into the space, with automatic control of accelerator, brakes and gearshift.
