Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist w/ Pedestrian, Cyclist & Junction Turning Detection is a Driving Safety function that helps avoid collisions with an oncoming vehicle or an oncoming powered two-wheeler while turning left at an intersection.

The system warns or assists with braking if the left turn signal switch is activated at an intersection and the risk of a collision with an oncoming vehicle or an oncoming powered two-wheeler from an adjacent lane is detected while turning left. It also works when turning right for oncoming powered two-wheeler or cyclist.

A forward-mounted camera or radar can detect potential collisions and apply the brakes to prevent or lessen the effects of a detected potential collision.

Under certain conditions, enhanced auto emergency braking systems can detect pedestrians, cyclists, and oncoming vehicles when you are turning left.

Evasive Steering Assist is a Driving Safety function that helps avoid collisions with a vehicle, a powered two-wheeler, a pedestrian, or a cyclist in front of the vehicle while driving. Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist-Front is a Parking Safety function. When moving forward, if the system detects certain objects in front of the vehicle, it will issue audible and visual warnings.

If the system detects an object getting extremely close, the vehicle will apply brakes automatically, potentially avoiding a collision.

Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist-Side is a Parking Safety function. When moving forward or reversing, if the system detects certain objects on the side of the vehicle, it will issue audible and visual warnings.

Additionally, the system alerts the driver when a leading vehicle begins to move forward from a still position.
