Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist w/ Pedestrian, Cyclist & Junction Turning Detection is a Driving Safety function that helps avoid collisions with an oncoming vehicle or an oncoming powered two-wheeler while turning left at an intersection.

The system warns or assists with braking if the left turn signal switch is activated at an intersection and the risk of a collision with an oncoming vehicle or an oncoming powered two-wheeler from an adjacent lane is detected while turning left. It also works when turning right for oncoming powered two-wheeler or cyclist.

A forward-mounted camera or radar can detect potential collisions and apply the brakes to prevent or lessen the effects of a detected potential collision.

Under certain conditions, enhanced auto emergency braking systems can detect pedestrians, cyclists, and oncoming vehicles when you are turning left.

Building upon Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Junction Crossing Detection is a Driving Safety function that helps avoid collisions with an oncoming vehicle or an oncoming powered two-wheeler while turning left or right at an intersection.

Direct Oncoming is a Driving Safety function that helps mitigate the collision damage with a direct oncoming vehicle. The system warns or assists with braking if the risk of a collision with an oncoming vehicle from the opposite side of the driving path is detected.

Lane Change Oncoming is a Driving Safety function that helps avoid collisions with an oncoming vehicle or an oncoming powered two-wheeler while changing lanes. The system automatically warns and assists steering if the risk of a collision with an oncoming vehicle or an oncoming powered two-wheeler when changing lanes while driving is detected.

Lane Change Side is a Driving Safety function that helps avoid collisions with a preceding vehicle or a powered two-wheeler in the next lane while changing lanes. The system automatically warns and assists steering if the risk of a collision with a preceding vehicle or a powered two-wheeler in the next lane while changing lanes is detected.

Evasive Steering Assist is a Driving Safety function that helps avoid collisions with a vehicle, a powered two-wheeler, a pedestrian, or a cyclist in front of the vehicle while driving. The system warns if the risk of a collision with a powered two-wheeler, a pedestrian, or a cyclist overlapping the edge of the vehicle from the front is detected and automatically assists evasive steering when there is space to evade the collision within the driving lane.

Driver Attention Warning is a Driving Safety function that analyzes the driver's attention level and provides a warning while driving. The driver's attention level is calculated between 0 and 5 levels. When the level of attention becomes level 0, a break is recommended. The system provides an alert to the driver when the leading vehicle departs during a stop.

Additionally, the system alerts the driver when a leading vehicle begins to move forward from a still position.
