We want to help all our customers, especially those who have been directly affected by the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
Every day brings us new concerns. We could all use a little help getting through. That’s why we’re introducing Kia’s Accelerate the Good Program to help current and future Kia owners.
Frontline healthcare workers across the country currently face a shortage of personal protective equipment. That’s why our team of Kia employee volunteers, aka the Telluriders, are delivering face shields to over 60 hospitals across the nation.
Deliveries have already taken place in Orange County, California, and over the next month, face shields will also be distributed in Los Angeles, New York, Georgia, and other regions moving forward.
With nationwide levels of medical supplies remaining critically low, Kia is joining the fight and has begun production of face shields at our plant in West Point, GA.
We’ll be producing 200,000 shields per month, which will be donated to medical facilities in Georgia, as well as New York and Los Angeles.
How do you shelter in place when your home is the sidewalk? Or wash your hands for 20 seconds when there’s no soap or running water? Right now, it’s even tougher for America’s homeless youth. So, we’re giving a million dollars to help keep them safe. Because we’re all in this together. And everyone deserves a fighting chance.
