This technology helps to maintain a safe speed and distance from the vehicle ahead on highways, adjusting speed for tight curves to ensure safety. If SCC 2 detects driver unresponsiveness, it activates the brakes to stop the car in its lane, triggers warnings, and automatically unlocks the doors.

HDA 2 automatically adjusts your target speed to match the speed limit while maintaining a safe distance from any vehicles in front. The system can also automatically change lanes when you activate the side indicator.

Enjoy greater control driving at night, whatever the conditions. When activated, this system automatically adjusts the high beam based on speed and detected vehicles. At high speeds (above 100 km/h or 60 mph), it selectively controls the headlights, turning off the driver’s side beam when necessary to prevent glare for oncoming traffic.

LFA2 helps keep your Sportage centred in its lane by monitoring lane markings and surrounding vehicles, providing steering assistance when needed. The upgraded Hands-on Detection sensors on the steering wheel detect whether you are touching it, even without movement.

If a potential collision is identified when pulling out of a parallel parking space, it automatically engages emergency braking to help prevent an accident. React faster: Evaluating both camera and radar data from your Sportage, this system analyses information about other cars, pedestrians or cyclists crossing the road ahead – and activates a warning signal and braking to help avoid a potential collision with them. The Junction Turning function also detects any oncoming vehicles when making a left turn at an intersection. 7
