For the parking brake warning light, note the following:

• If you drive with the parking brake applied, the parking brake warning light flashes and a chime sounds. Release the parking brake.
• If the brake fluid level is low, the light illuminates. Check the brake fluid reservoir and top it up if necessary.
• If the light does not turn off, have your vehicle inspected at any of the Kia Authorised Service Centres.

Warning: If the brake fluid level is low, do not drive your vehicle. The brake may not work properly.

The EPS (Electronic Power Steering) assists driver’s steering effort.

If the EPS warning light stays on, have your vehicle inspected at any of the Kia Authorised Service Centres.

The charging system warning light stays on to indicate that:

• The battery is exhausted
• The fan belt is broken
• The alternator or electrical charging system is malfunctioning

If the charging system warning light stays on, have your vehicle inspected at any of the Kia Authorised Service Centres.

The fuel filter warning light stays on to indicate that the fuel filter is filled with more water than specified amount.

If the fuel filter warning light stays on, have your vehicle inspected at any of the Kia Authorised Service Centres.

This warning light illuminates: 

When a door is not closed securely.

This indicator illuminates:

When charging the high voltage battery.

The ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) allows the driver to maintain the control over the vehicle by preventing the vehicle from slipping when the brakes are applied.

If the ABS warning light stays on, have your vehicle inspected by a Kia Authorised Dealer.

The engine warning light stays on to indicate that:

• The vehicle powertrain or the emission control system is malfunctioning.
• A leakage occurs in the fuel supply system.
• The fuel tank cap is not closed properly.

If the engine warning light stays on, have your vehicle inspected at any of the Kia Authorised Service Centres.

For the low tyre pressure warning light, note the following:

• If the tyre pressure is low, the low tyre pressure warning light stays on. Check the tyre pressure and inflate the tyre if necessary.
• If the tyre pressure monitoring system is malfunctioning, the light will not illuminate or flash for 1 minute and stay on. Have your vehicle inspected at any of the Kia Authorised Service Centres.

The electronic parking brake warning light stays on to indicate that:

• The electronic parking brake is malfunctioning.
• The electronic stability control is malfunctioning.

If the electronic parking brake warning light stays on, have your vehicle inspected at any of the Kia Authorised Service Centres.

The forward collision-avoidance assist warning light stays on to indicate that:

• The front view camera is malfunctioning.
• The front radar is malfunctioning.

If the forward collision-avoidance assist warning light stays on, have your vehicle inspected by a Kia Authorised Dealer.

The ESC (Electronic Stability Control) assists driver’s steering by preventing skidding on the slippery or curved road.

• If the ESC indicator light flashes, it is normal.
• If the ESC indicator stays on, have your vehicle inspected by at any of the Kia Authorised Service Centres.

The ESC (Electronic Stability Control) assists driver’s steering by preventing skidding on the slippery or curved road.

If you press the ESC off indicator light to deactivate the ESC, the light stays on.

The immobiliser prevents vehicle theft by allowing the registered keys to start the vehicle.

If the immobiliser indicator light flashes, have your vehicle inspected at any of the Kia Authorised Service Centres.

If the smart key does not exist in the vehicle or the battery of the smart key is low when the ignition is ON, the immobiliser indicator light flashes. Press the Engine START/STOP button with the smart key.

For the SCR warning light, note the following:

• If the urea solution level is low, the SCR warning light stays on. Check the urea solution tank and add the solution if necessary.
• If the urea solution level is not low and the light stays on, have your vehicle inspected by a Kia Authorised Dealer.

If the glow indicator light flashes or stays on, have your vehicle inspected at any of the Kia Authorised Service Centres.

Warning: There is a risk of fire if the glow indicator light flashes while preheating.

Note: The emission system may be damaged if the vehicle is driven while the glow indicator light is on.

This indicator light illuminates:

When the rear for lights are on.

This warning light illuminates:

When the engine oil pressure is low. Check the engine oil level as soon as possible and add engine oil as required.

This warning light illuminates:

When the washer fluid level in the reservoir is nearly empty. Please refill the washer fluid.

This warning light blinks when there is a malfunction with the AFLS. In such case, follow below procedures:

• Drive carefully to the nearest safe location and stop your vehicle.
• Turn the engine off and restart the engine. If the warning light remains on, we recommend having your vehicle inspected at any of the Kia Authorised Service Centres.

This indicator light illuminates:

When you select “SPORT” mode as drive mode.

This warning light illuminates:

• When the high voltage battery level is too low or voltage is decreasing.
• When the temperature of the high voltage battery is too high or too low.
• When the temperature of the motor is high.

This warning light illuminates:

• When the high voltage battery level is not enough.
• When the warning light turns ON, charge the battery immediately.

This warning light illuminates:

When there is a problem with related parts of the electric vehicle control system, such as sensors, etc.

The ISG (Idle Stop and Go) improves fuel efficiency and reduces exhaust emissions by pausing the engine after the vehicle is stationary.

• If the ISG indicator light illuminates green, it is normal.
• If the ISG indicator light illuminates yellow, have your vehicle inspected at any of the Kia Authorised Service Centres.

For the hazard warning/turn signal indicator light, note the following:

• If all the light flash when you press the hazard warning flasher, it is normal.
• If the light flashes faster than normal condition, have your vehicle inspected at any of the Kia Authorised Service Centres.

The HBA (High Beam Assist) switch the headlights to low beam or high beam automatically by detecting oncoming or preceding vehicles.

When the light switch is in the AUTO position, the HBA indicator light illuminates.

This indicator light illuminates:

When the cruise control system is enabled.

This indicator light illuminates:

When the cruise control system is enabled.

This indicator light illuminates:

When the front fog lights are on.

The DBC (Downhill Brake Control) assists the driver to descend a steep hill without depressing the brake pedal.

• If the DBC indicator light illuminates or flashes green, it is normal.
• If the DBC indicator light illuminates yellow, have your vehicle inspected at any of the Kia Authorised Service Centres.

This indicator light illuminates:

When using the Highway Change Assistant.

This indicator light illuminates:

When the vehicle is driven by the electric motor only.

This indicator light illuminates:

When you select “SPORT” mode as drive mode.

This indicator light illuminates:

When you select AWD lock mode by pressing the AWD LOCK button.

The AWD lock mode is to increase the drive power when driving on wet pavement, snow covered roads and/or off-road.

This indicator illuminates :

When the vehicle is ready to be driven.

• ON: Normal driving is possible.
• OFF: Normal driving is not possible, or a problem has occurred.
• Blinking: Emergency driving

When the ready indicator goes OFF or blinks, there is a problem with the system. In this case, it is recommended to have your vehicle inspected at any of the Kia Authorised Service Centres.

This indicator illuminates:

When the vehicle is ready to be driven.

• ON: Normal driving is possible.
• OFF: Normal driving is not possible, or a problem has occurred.
• Blinking: Emergency driving

The high beam indicator light illuminates when:

• The headlights are on and in the high beam position
• The lighting control lever is pulled into the flash-to-pass position

The AUTO HOLD keeps the vehicle stopped even if your foot is removed from the brake pedal after the vehicle stops.

• If the AUTO HOLD indicator light illuminates white or green, it is normal.
• If the AUTO HOLD indicator illuminates yellow, have your vehicle inspected at any of the Kia Authorised Service Centres.

The EBD (Electronic Brake force Distribution) improves braking performance by distributing the brake force to the front and rear wheels.

If the EBD warning light stays on, have your vehicle inspected at any of the Kia Authorised Service Centres.

This indicator light illuminates:

When you turn the lane keeping assistant system on by pressing the LKA button.

• White: Sensor does not detect the lane marker or vehicle speed is less than 40 mph.
• Green: Sensor detects the lane marker and system is able to control the steering.
• Yellow: If there is a problem with the system, the yellow LKA indicator will illuminate.

This indicator light illuminates in the following ways.

• White: the steering assist mode is deactivated
• Green: the steering assist mode is activated

This warning light illuminates:

The regenerative brake does not operate and the brake does not perform well. 

This causes the brake warning lamp (red) and regenerative brake warning lamp (yellow) to turn ON simultaneously.

In this case, drive safely and have your vehicle inspected at any of the Kia Authorised Service Centres.

The operation of the brake pedal may be more difficult than normal and the braking distance can increase.
