Safety
Putting safety first on the road
FCA 2 monitors your surroundings and warns you of potential collisions with vehicles, pedestrians, or cyclists ahead. If there is a risk of collision, it automatically assists with emergency braking and steering.
SCC maintains a safe distance from the vehicle ahead of you. If it suddenly stops, the EV5 will stop too, and accelerate to resume. After long stops, simply press the accelerator or use the +/- switch to move forward again.
LFA helps keep the EV5 centered in the lane by using a front-view camera to guide the steering based on lane markings or the position of the car ahead.
