Kia high voltage lithium-ion battery-units in electric vehicles (EV), hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) are built to have a long life. For EV, HEV and PHEV, Kia guarantees that a high voltage battery will retain at least 80% capacity for a period of 5 years from the initial registration or 100,000 km, whichever comes first and at least 70% capacity for a period of 8 years from the initial registration or 160,000 km, whichever comes first.

(2) Kia warranty

(4) Over-the-Air updates
New vehicles equipped with OTA-enabled navigation software benefit from a free trial period during which Over-the-Air updates for maps and infotainment software are provided at no additional cost. After the trial ends, further OTA updates can be accessed either via https://update.kia.com/EU/E1/Main or through a Kia dealership. Availability of OTA updates may vary by model and region.
Additional features, services and content described as “Kia Upgrades” may be available for purchase separately via the Kia Connect Store, accessible through the Kia App.
(5) Safety
The use of assistance and safety systems does not release the driver from the obligation to constantly monitor traffic and control the vehicle. Drivers must still adapt their driving behaviour to their personal driving skills, the legal regulations and the general road and traffic conditions.
(6) Engine-off coasting
Engine-off coasting is available only on vehicles equipped with Manual Transmission. The coasting function depends on the actual driving conditions. (MHEV COPY).

For the Digital Key 2.0 to work properly, you need a compatible phone that supports Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Near-Field Communication (NFC) and Ultra-Wide-Band (UWB) technology. The Kia Sportage is compatible with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™. Android Auto™ is designed to work with Android phones running 5.0 (Lollipop) or higher. Apple CarPlay™ is available for iPhone 5 or newer models. Both systems feature voice control and allow the driver to keep their hands on the wheel and eyes on the road ahead at all times. (9) AI Assistant
The Kia AI Assistant is available as part of specific subscription packages and typically includes a one-year free trial period. Subscription fees apply thereafter. Feature availability may vary by model, specification or region.
