Highway Driving Assist 2.0 (HDA 2.0) with Hands-On Detection
HDA 2.0 with HoD automatically adapts your target speed to meet the limit, while keeping you at a safe distance from the vehicles ahead. The upgraded hands-on detection sensors on the steering wheel detect whether you are touching it, even without movement. HDA 2.0 is even capable of changing lane automatically when you use the side indicator.
Smart Cruise Control 2 (SCC 2)
SCC 2 helps you maintain a safe distance and steady speed on highways, adapting to traffic flow and slowing down for tight curves when needed. It automatically resumes your set speed once the road straightens. If you become unresponsive, the system will bring your EV4 to a controlled stop, activating warnings and unlocking the doors for safety.
Projection LED headlights with Intelligent Front Lighting System
This advanced technology adapts your beam automatically to the road and traffic ahead. Especially useful on night drives and poorly lit roads, it ensures excellent visibility for the driver while preventing glare for oncoming drivers.
Anti-Collision Assistants
Blind-Spot Collision Avoidance Assist (BCA)
BCA alerts you to any vehicles in your rear side blind spot when changing lanes. And if you’re exiting a parallel parking space and a car is coming from behind, it can also activate automatic emergency braking to help avoid a collision.
Forward Collision Avoidance Assist Junction Turning
FCA 2.0 monitors your surroundings for any possible collisions with cars, cyclists and pedestrians. If your braking isn’t sufficient, your EV4 will step in automatically. It also assists in avoiding oncoming vehicles when turning at intersections and in other driving scenarios.

(1) Electric range
The electric range figures of 633 km (EV4 Fastback) and 625 km (EV4 Hatchback) apply to the long-range EV4 variant equipped with the 81.4 kWh battery. Figures are based on latest available data.
The range was determined according to the standardised EU measurement procedure (WLTP). The individual driving style and other factors, such as speed, outside temperature, topography and the use of electricity-consuming devices/units, have an influence on the real-life range and can possibly reduce it.
(2) Trunk space
Trunk capacities of 435 litres (5-door EV4) and 490 litres (4-door EV4 Fastback) are based on manufacturer measurements and may vary depending on vehicle specification and measurement method.
(3) Kia battery units
Kia high voltage lithium-ion battery units in electric vehicles (EV), hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) are built to have a long life. These batteries are covered by the Kia warranty for a period of 7 years from initial registration or 150,000 km, whichever comes first. For low voltage batteries (48V and 12V) in mild-hybrid electric vehicles (MHEV), the Kia warranty covers a period of 2 years from initial registration regardless of mileage. For EVs and PHEVs only, Kia guarantees a 70% capacity of the battery. Capacity reduction of the battery in HEV and MHEV is not covered by the warranty. (4) Battery charging time
In order to achieve the maximum charging speed, the EV4 must be charged at an 800-volt electric vehicle charger that delivers at least 240kW of electricity. The additionally added real-life range within 15 minutes is depending on different factors including the current state of charge of the battery, battery temperature and the charger used. It is also defined by the individual driving style and energy consumption.
(5) V2G and V2H capabilities
Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) and Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) capabilities are subject to availability depending on market, local regulations, and compatible infrastructure. Additional equipment and services may be required. Kia makes no guarantee regarding the availability, functionality or performance of these features in all regions.
(6) Home charging
The purchase and installation of any wall box charging equipment are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. Installation must be performed by a qualified professional and in full compliance with all applicable local laws, regulations, and safety standards. Kia assumes no liability for the installation, operation, or maintenance of wall box equipment.
(7) Kia AI Assistant
The Kia AI Assistant is available as part of specific subscription packages and typically includes a one-year free trial period. Subscription fees apply thereafter. Feature availability may vary by model, specification or region. The Kia AI Assistant is currently only available in a limited number of languages (including English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Dutch). (8) Over-the-Air (OTA) updates & Kia Upgrades
New vehicles equipped with OTA-enabled navigation software benefit from a free trial period during which Over-the-Air updates for maps and infotainment software are provided at no additional cost. After the trial ends, further OTA updates can be accessed either via https://update.kia.com/EU/E1/Main or through a Kia dealership. Availability of OTA updates may vary by model and region.
Additional features, services and content described as “Kia Upgrades” may be available for purchase separately via the Kia Connect Store, accessible through the Kia App.
(9) Premium streaming services
Available as optional paid services. A separate subscription may be required for access to music and video streaming content.
(10) Digital key
For Digital Key to properly work, you need a compatible phone that supports Ultra-Wide-Band (UWB) technology.
