Kia Forte 5-door-4-Wheel Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS)

4-Wheel Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS)

ABS is the foundation of an active safety system. It helps provide greater vehicle control when stopping in difficult conditions like wet or slippery roads.

No matter how advanced a safety feature is, seatbelts should always be worn for maximum protection. Image shown for reference only.

Kia Forte 5-door-Electronic Stability Control (ESC) & Traction Control System (TCS)

Electronic Stability Control (ESC) & Traction Control System (TCS)

The Electronic Stability Control monitors and assists in the control of key vehicle functions to provide improved directional stability, which helps you maintain better control in difficult driving situations. The advanced Traction Control System can sense wheel spin during acceleration. When it does, it uses a combination of engine power and brake force to transfer power to the wheels that have the most traction, providing both increased control and enhanced responsiveness.

Kia Forte 5-door-Brake Assist System (BAS) Shown

Brake Assist System (BAS) Shown

The Brake Assist System (BAS) adds an additional level of enhanced safety by detecting emergency braking situations and applying additional braking force. BAS instantly assesses a number of variables including brake pedal pressure and speed the brake pedal was depressed and responds with full braking force if necessary.

Kia Forte 5-door-Electronic Brake-Force Distribution (EBD)

Electronic Brake-Force Distribution (EBD)

EBD senses the vehicle’s load and weight distribution, then applies the necessary braking pressure at each wheel. This helps to enhance your control.

Kia Forte 5-door-Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

The monitoring system includes air-pressure sensors located at each wheel. If a tire reaches a specified low air pressure, a warning light alerts you.

Even with TPMS, always check your tire pressure on a regular basis w/a digital tire gauge. Image shown for reference only.
Kia Forte 5-door-Airbag and Seat Belt Sensors

Airbag and Seat Belt Sensors

This advanced air bag system monitors the severity of an impact, the presence of a front passenger and seat-belt use, and then controls airbag inflation accordingly.

For maximum protection, always wear your seat belt. Inflated airbags shown for illustration only.
Kia Forte 5-door-Dual Front Advanced Airbags

Dual Front Advanced Airbags

When used with properly fitted seatbelts, this advanced system detects the presence of a front seat passenger, monitors the severity of an impact and controls airbag inflation accordingly to help reduce injuries in certain collisions.

For maximum protection, always wear your seat belt. Inflated airbags shown for illustration only.
Kia Forte 5-door-Full-Length Side Curtain Airbags

Full-Length Side Curtain Airbags

The Full-Length Side Curtain Airbags offer enhanced safety of occupants in all rows by reducing the potential for injury in certain collisions or rollover scenarios.

For maximum protection, always wear your seat belt. Inflated airbags shown for illustration only.
Kia Forte 5-door-Front Active Headrests

Front Active Headrests

In the event of certain rear collisions, the active headrests move up and forward, helping to reduce the likelihood of neck injury.

For maximum protection, always wear your seat belt. Image shown for reference only.
Kia Forte 5-door-Front and Rear 3-Point Seat Belts

Front and Rear 3-Point Seat Belts

The first line of defense in safety are the seatbelts. Front and rear 3-point seat belts are an integral part of an elaborate vehicle-wide safety system designed to help minimize the effects of an accident.

For maximum protection, always wear your seat belt. Image shown for reference only.
Kia Forte 5-door-Front Seat-Belt Pretensioners

Front Seat-Belt Pretensioners

Pretensioners have been designed to tighten the seat belts in the event of certain collisions. This helps to reduce the likelihood of injuries.
