Kia Connect On-Board Services 1
Kia Connect services power your Kia with a number of connected services. Navigation is performed using live traffic data for the best possible route and journey time estimate, and your destination searches draw their results from the internet for maximum accuracy and relevance. You also have access to weather information, as well as live fuel prices for stations around you. And when you’ve almost arrived at your destination, Kia Connect helps you find public parking spaces, with pricing and availability for parking locations near you.

Kia Connect App Services 2
Interact with your Niro wherever you are. With the Kia Connect app, you can get the status of your car such as the distance it can travel or whether all doors are properly closed - at a glance, and you get notified if anything seems wrong. You also have access to a number of convenience features like Send To Car, which lets you select a destination on your phone and send it to your Niro. You can also create a user profile so your preferred vehicle settings – like the orientation of the map or how your Niro alerts you to speed cameras - apply once behind the wheel. When you park your car before arriving at your exact destination, the Kia Connect app can also provide you guidance to complete the journey on foot.

Details of operation and terms of use can be obtained on your vehicle’s head unit. Available On-Board Services might differ depending on your country. Smartphone with data plan required to activate Kia Connect Live Services services in countries and models without embedded telematics.
(2) Kia Connect App Services. Information and control service for your Kia from your smartphone; the Services are available free of charge for a period of seven years commencing on the day the vehicle is sold to the first owner of the vehicle, i.e. the point in time the initial purchase agreement becomes effective, and may be subject to change during that period. Details of operation and terms of use can be obtained on your Kia Connect App. Smartphone with iOS or Android operating system and mobile phone contract with data option necessary incurring additional cost.
OTR pricing is subject to change. (New emissions regulations have resulted in a revised testing procedure, which could result in higher fuel consumption and CO2 emissions figures. The first year rate for Vehicle Excise Duty (VED) is based on CO2 emissions and any increase in VED would impact on the on-the-road price. The Benefit-in-Kind (BiK) rate and P11D value could also increase). Please liaise with your dealer for further details.
There are certain situations in which the petrol engine will automatically activate even when the vehicle is in EV mode. Examples could include: when the hybrid battery state of charge is reduced to a certain level, when acceleration demand is high and/or when it is required to heat up the cabin.
