The pinchable, zoomable, high-resolution display presents data for navigation and audio, as well as the rear view monitor and parking guidance. The customizable screen can be split into two views at once, and voice controls are now integrated.

Increased passenger comfort in the 2nd-row seats by applying two USB charging ports on the side of 1st-row seat backs, and a 3rd charger to support 3rd-row passengers.

Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA)

FCA uses a front view camera and front radar to detect vehicles, pedestrians or cyclists ahead.
By warning and braking automatically, it can help you avoid or reduce the severity of an accident.

Lane Following Assist (LFA)

LFA assists the driver to stay safe and on the middle of the road in situations where the vehicle diverts from the ideal driving position.

Blind-Spot View Monitor - (BVM)

Signal a lane change and, if there is a possibility of a collision, BVM will show live video footage on the instrument cluster of what’s in the blind spots of the outside mirror on the side of your intended lane change.

Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist - (RCCA)

The RCCW radars detect the presence of cross traffic in the lane the Sorento is backing into. If a vehicle is detected on either side, an audible warning will sound, and a cluster warning graphic will illuminate, until the path is clear.

High Beam Assist (HBA)

When the system detects headlights of oncoming cars or the tail light of cars in front as well as ambient light , it will turn off the high beam to prevent the glare of other cars

Driver Attention Warning (DAW)

To prevent traffic accidents, DAW detects careless driving patterncaused by driver's fatigue/inattentive driving and calls the driver'sattention with cluster indication and alarm sound.

Safe Exit Assist (SEA)

Using the rear corner radar, SEA detects cars approaching from behind and cautions passengers who may intend to exit the vehicle. SEA will even override Electronic Child Safety Lock settings until the approaching vehicle has passed.

Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA)

BCA reinforced with a new functions that assist to collisionavoidance through differential braking when the risks of collision with a car of blind spots during lane changes. In addition, it is safer by adding a function to prevent collision by braking in case of risk of collision with the rear side vehicle while moving forward in parallel parking.

Smart Cruise Control (SCC)

SCC maintains the driver’s selected speed and, using the front-view camera and front radar, helps to maintain a safe following distance. SCC will reduce speed and even stop the car when needed. Then when the car ahead moves, SCC automatically accelerates for you. SCC is now activated with the simple touch of a button.

Surround View Monitor (SVM)

When operating in confined spaces, multiple cameras provide you with a zoomable, 360° overhead view of the vehicle’s surroundings, so you can maneuver with confidence and without having to get out of the vehicle.

Rear Occupant Alert (ROA)

ROA reminds drivers to check the rear seatswhen exiting the vehicle with cluster displaymessage to prevent children and pets frombeing forgotten in the car.
