The following Kia Vehicles ONLY are subject to the Warranty Coverage under this Agreement.
The CBU Vehicles that comprise the Kia Vehicles are as follows:

The latest engineering techniques have been incorporated into the design and production of your KIA vehicle.
The new vehicle 60 months /100,000 Kilometers Limited warranty given is one of the finest available.
Together with your Owner’s manual the warranty and Maintenance manual details the warranties and maintenance intervals KIA recommends you follow to maximize the performance of your Kia vehicle.
In addition only genuine Kia parts are used in all servicing and repairs.
It is not enough to sell vehicles that look pleasing in the showroom. We are also committed to making sure you enjoy you Kia vehicle for years to come.

WHAT IS COVERED

Kia warrants that your vehicle is free from defects in material or workmanship subject to terms and conditions.
All necessary repairs will be made to correct any problem found during this limited warranty using new parts without any charge to you.

EXCEPTIONS

Battery: The original battery is covered for the first 12 months, regardless of mileage.
Audio System: Original Audio equipment and all related parts, including video systems are covered for 36 months or 100,000 Kilometers, whichever comes first.

What is not covered

Damages due to factors beyond the manufacture’s control.

Examples of these factors are:

Misuse of the Kia vehicle such as driving over curbs, overloading the vehicle, racing, off-road driving.
(Proper usage is described in your owner’s manual.)

Accidents, collision, fire, theft, riot.
Alterations, modifications, tampering.

Surface damages due to environmental factors such as acid rain, chemicals spill, tree sap, stone chips, scratches, lightening, floods, acts of god.

Damages due to lack of maintenance as is described in your owner’s manual, improper maintenance or use of other than the specified lubricants, oils, or fuel as is specified in your owner’s manual.

Normal wear and tear or deterioration, such as discoloration, fading, deformation.
