To qualify for the 2013 TOP SAFETY PICK+ award, vehicles must earn ‘Good’ ratings in at least four of the five following evaluations, with no less than an ‘Acceptable’ rating in the fifth test: small overlap frontal test, moderate overlap frontal test, side impact, rollover and rear tests. Winners must also have electronic stability control.
