Great looks and specification. Comfort and reasonable performance. Still turns heads and unique on the road. Just parked next to a car 3 times the price and it's the better looking
Can be a little thirsty if pushing on but then that's to be expected

Great all-rounder.
Stuffed full of electronic gadgets.
Plenty of power for a daily driver.
Fuel economy and tax is not bad for the size and power of the car.
Looks awesome.
Suspension is a little soft with a bit too much body roll but it's better than the lower models.
Gear shift is a little sloppy (compared to a Civic Type R) but I've driven much worse, Volkswagen Audi group cars for example.
Steering feel is pretty dead but that's the electric assisted steering which seems to be the norm these days.

Dear Margaret,

Thanks for taking the time to provide us with feedback on your new pro_cee'd GT.

We’re sorry the fuel economy on your car hasn’t yet met your expectations. The engine in your car is built with very fine tolerances - it will gradually become more efficient over time and can take several thousand miles before it is at its most economical.

Please take a look at our video about fuel consumption - http://youtu.be/FCeeKzaf4UI , and our ‘Driving Towards a Greener Future’ publication - http://www.kia.co.uk/flip_brochures/greener/

These will provide you with information on how to boost your Kia’s MPG, greener driving, government consumption and emissions figures and lots more.

We hope you find this information useful but please give us a call if you have any other questions– 0333 2022990.

The car is really striking, everyone I meet admires the design. When they see the equipment levels they are amazed at the relatively low price asked. My wife has a wheelchair, this can be put in the boot without folding the seats down. She finds the Recarro seats extremely supportive. The black interior and roof-lining make it a very non-reflective interior which enhances the vision out of the car, and the large side windows with the pillar out of view is an additional enhancement to external visibility. Access to the rear seats is good and my sister in law who has to use crutches can get in and out OK and she says the back seats are the most comfortable she has experienced. The lights are the best I have ever experienced, the dipped lights are truly amazing with the sharpness of cut-off between light and dark, the tail lights are awesome - really Star Trek! The engine is extremely tractable and is quite happy to be in 6th gear at 30 mph, and then pulls away with no problem, it has the high torque characteristics of a turbo diesel. The car is a very pleasant place to be, there is no wind noise and the engine noise is very subdued even at Motorway speeds, makes for easy listening to the excellent sound system. I am really pleased with the car and my daughter cannot wait to inherit it. Tried the steering wheel heater by accident and it was warm by the time I reversed out of the driveway. Wing mirrors really make up for the slightly limited rear view mirror vision. The reversing camera is absolutely brilliant. White is the best colour showing up all the design details, and it keeps the car amazingly cool when parked out on a sunny day.

The car has been described as thirsty. I did a long run of 360 miles on mixed motorway and got 44 mpg. Local running gives 38 mpg, so 400 miles to a tank is easily achievable
At tick-over the engine is quieter than the air-conditioning fan. When I first got the car I could not tell if the engine was running without checking the rev counter.

Care is needed to ensure you are in 1st gear and not 3rd gear

Looks like a Storm Trooper from the Star Wars Imperial Guard

The Top Gear car review: Kia pro_cee’d GT

"Kia builds a hot hatch. It's really rather decent. Swift, comfy, affordable - and just sporty enough." Only Korea’s first-ever hot hatch! After building its reputation with straight-laced, reasonably priced cars for straight-laced, reasonably priced buyers, Kia has finally decided to let its hair down and take on the fast kids.

    Review: 2015 Kia pro_cee’d 1.0 GT Line

In three door pro_cee’d guise this hatchback instantly makes more of a statement than others in the car park. Adding to its aesthetic is that this specific Kia is in GT Line trim and so you get all of the styling details as found on the sportier pro_cee’d GT. “Ice cube” daytime running lights, More aggressive bumpers, and those attractive 17 inch alloy wheels all come as part of the package.

Road Test: Kia pro_cee'd 1.0 T-GDi ecoTurbo GT Line

Downsizing is one of the key trends in the automotive world right now and the latest recipient of a turbocharged, three-cylinder, 1-litre petrol engine is the slinky Kia pro_cee'd. It’s not just the sportiest member of the ceed family that benefits from the new motor either – as part of a host of mild 2016 model year revisions, its hatchback and Sportswagon estate counterparts have it installed too.
