Lovely to drive, good comfort and instrumentation is clear and easy to use. More leg room in the rear than similar other brands.
Fuel economy is nowhere near as good as we were told to expect!

Build quality, warranty, comfort, reliability, performance of 3 cylinder 118bhp petrol engine is amazingly good. Fuel consumption 40mpg in town and 50+ on a run.
Often bump head on top of door opening when entering car. I am 6 feet tall. This did not happen on previous Mk 1 Ceed.
Bottom edge of passenger's side windscreen wiper blade leaves a line across passenger's line of sight.

Apart from the economy, due to mileage per gallon, it gives a good comfortable ride, with plenty of passenger space.
The fantastic drive is complimented by the dashboard which gives the driver easy sight and reach, and looks quite sporty .
The attention to detail, makes standard what others charge so much for.
You cannot beat the confidence the manufacturer puts on the car with its 7 year warranty which is the icing on the cake.
There are a couple of small niggles; For the front passenger it is awkward to lock the seat belt because of the cut of the central column.
Although it is a 1.6 it is not as "gutsy" as others I have driven.

  • Kia cee'd driving around a corner in a tunnel

    Kia cee'd Review

Kia’s new 1.0 three-cylinder turbo engine adds efficiency and cuts emissions in the facelifted Cee’d. It’s been a long time coming, but the downsized unit is worth the wait, delivering adequate performance and lower running costs.
  • Kia cee'd parked inside a building

    Kia cee'd Hatchback Review

"The Kia cee'd runs its rivals close for space, style and build quality – plus it comes with Kia's excellent seven-year warranty."
