ADVANCED AIRBAG SYSTEM. The Spectra comes standard with six airbags placed throughout the vehicle. They include dual front advanced, dual side and full-length side curtains to help protect you and your passengers.

AIRBAG & SEATBELT SENSORS. The advanced airbag system monitors the severity of an impact, the presence of a front passenger and seat-belt use, and then controls airbag inflation accordingly.¹

FRONT SEAT-BELT PRETENSIONERS WITH FORCE LIMITERS. Depending on the severity of a frontal collision, the pretensioners tighten extra slack in the seat belts, while the force limiters let out the appropriate amount of slack to reduce strain on front occupants.

FRONT ACTIVE HEADRESTS. In the event of a rear collision, the active headrests instantly move up and forward, reducing the likelihood of neck injury.

TIRE CHECK. A Tire-Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) alerts you if one or more of your tires is underinflated so you can adjust your tire pressure.²

CONTROLLED BRAKING. An available Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) gives you better vehicle control during hard or sudden braking, especially on wet or unstable road surfaces. At that time, if a wheel is on the verge of locking, monitoring sensors will detect it and cause the brakes to be pumped, which helps you maintain the ability to steer.
