Business Planning Assistant Manager

Your responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the "Monthly Business Review Project" for 14 European subsidiaries
  • Analyse market submissions, identify sales and profit risks and opportunities
  • Suggest improvements in team meetings and create templates to enable the capture of effective business opportunities and streamline reporting within Kia Motors Europe and subsidiaries
  • Develop and continuously improve business plan process (incl. timelines, templates, communication flows)
  • Suggest effective volume distribution of volume by market including preparation of rundowns for business plan / operation plan revisions
  • Liaise with KME departments and subsidiaries for timely and accurate submission of inputs
  • Establish a process of validating CO data of the European Commission in order to comply with their regulations
  • Coordinate preparations of executive presentations
  • Handle ad-hoc requests on sales position and market trends
  • Monitor European car industry with regards to political, economic, environmental and tax changes, provide advice on markets trends and associated risks and opportunities

Your profile:

  • Degree in Business Management / Economics 
  • Minimum 4-5 years of professional experience in the automotive industry
  • Significant experience of regional or international HQ
  • Very good knowledge and understanding of business planning process
  • Knowledge and understanding of the day to day operation of National Sales Companies (NSCs) and distributors
  • Outstanding computer skills (MS-Office) particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Communicative and responsive attitude
  • Self-motivated and organized individual
  • Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks effectively
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Good planning skills and ability to multitask
  • Strong team player with an open approach to different nationalities and cultures
