Data protection rules for the online application procedure.
The contents displayed at www.xxxx.xx serve the purpose of electronically entering and submitting application data to the KIA XXX group companies. In connection with your online application you provide your entered personal data on a voluntary basis. By deciding to use our online application procedure you expressly consent to the storage, analysis and transmission of these data.
Please read this data protection declaration carefully before transmitting your data to us. The transfer of your online application will require that you confirm and accept the data protection rules for the online application procedure as a legally binding declaration of consent.
Should you decide to use our online application procedure in this process, you will be required to enter certain personal data in fields marked as mandatory, e.g. your first and last name and e-mail address. To make it easier for us to get in touch with you, you may also enter additional voluntary contact information, e.g. your address or your landline and cell phone numbers. To enable us to better address your application preferences you also have the possibility to transfer further data and files on a voluntary basis (the upload of the CV is mandatory), e.g. information on your professional qualifications and experience and files including your application documents such as motivational letter, application photo, reports and certificates etc. Please note that in particular the CVs, reports and certificates or other information transmitted by you for application purposes may contain sensitive data such as information on race or ethnic origin, political opinion, membership in a trade union or political party, information on physical or mental fitness or sexual life.
Furthermore, technical information is automatically transferred to us by your web browser upon accessing our webpages. This may include information on the browser used, information on the operating system, time and date of your visit and referrer URL if applicable. This information is used for statistical purposes only and for the adequate design of our internet sites. You as a user will remain anonymous. We are unable to merge these data with data from your online application.
Storage, use and deletion of data
Application data are collected and processed for the purpose of handling applications. Should you apply for a specific position which has already been filled and should we believe that your profile also fits another position or that you would be even better suited for another position, we would like to forward your application within our group of companies. Please let us know should you not agree to this procedure.
Your personal data are deleted after completion of the application process, however no later than after 12 months, unless you give us express permission to store your data for a longer period of time.
You are, of course, entitled to withdraw your application at any time.
Your online application data are directly forwarded by e-mail to the competent human resources department. When entering your application data, please keep in mind that the forwarding of your data by e-mail involves no encryption process and that it cannot be guaranteed that data may not be read or forged by unauthorised persons. You are welcome to send us your application by post.
The data transferred in connection with your online application are not forwarded to third parties unless you provide your express consent or upon an administrative order.
Withdrawal and information
You have the right to withdraw any consent provided to us at any time and are entitled to request information on your personal data stored by us.
