Manager Human Resources

Your responsibilities:

  • Carry out the screening, selecting, interviewing and hiring of temporary and fixed contract personnel up to a level General Manager in line with recruiting budget
  • Assist European expatriates and transferees from other countries with relocation matters and work / residence permits
  • Apply the appropriate transfer compensation packages in line with the appropriate policy and compensation & benefits
  • Collect and consolidate data for the European merit process on an annual basis in close collaboration with Compensation & Benefits
  • Responsible for payroll preparation, social security / social benefits (life insurance, medical insurance, pension plan, work accident insurance) and tax system
  • Implement standardized processes together with the supervisor 
  • Update the employee manual outlining local human resources policies, practices and procedures
  • Responsible for the filing and updating of all HR administration documents (e.g. job descriptions, policies, employee manual, etc.)
  • Act as a focal point for employee grievances and concerns and take lead together with the supervisor in settling disputes and conflicts with the appropriate supervisor
  • Ensure that all employees receive at least once a year a performance evaluation and feedback (Performance Management Program) from their supervisor on how they are doing and behaving
  • Assess Training needs (TNA) and implement trainings (internal & external) according to TNA & Performance Management Process in line with training budget
  • Conduct and implement on an annual basis the OPP (Organizational People Planning) process, a tool to identify talents / high-potentials in close cooperation with the HRD department


Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources/Business or the equivalent in related work experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience, with at least three years of multinational experience on an advanced job level
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), suitable languages advantageous
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, experience with P&I LOGA and SAP R/3 HR advantageous
  • In-depth knowledge of conflict management, local legislation, policy and practice
  • Good analytical skills, results and customer orientation, ability to deal with ambiguity, strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills
  • Ability to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Willingness to travel (0-5%) to attend meetings and conduct business
  • Team oriented and first leadership experience
