Introducing DRIVE WISE: Kia’s new sub-brand dedicated to autonomous driving and assistive technologies. This brand new platform will enable us to introduce intelligent safety innovations to our range over the coming years, helping to eliminate many of the inherent dangers and stresses of driving on today’s congested roads, while changing the ways in which you interact with your Kia. For you this means: improved on-road safety and hassle-free, delightful driving.

Blind Spot Detection + Rear Cross Traffic Alert

Eliminate areas you can't see with Blind Spot Detection. This smart technology feature monitors blind spots and visually alerts you in the side-view mirror if another vehicle enters a blind spot. When reversing, Rear Cross Traffic Alert warns you if anything approaches the car. For peace of mind when backing out of parking spots.

Proactive support

Always know the speed limit with the Speed Limit Information System. A camera detects speed limit signs and the maximum speed appears on the cluster. Using the same camera, the Lane Keeping Assist System actively warns you if you begin to stray from the lane without indicating, even steering you back into place if needed.

Autonomous Emergency Braking System

The Autonomous Emergency Braking System(1) helps avert an accident, keeping you safe and sound. A sensor and camera detect pedestrians and cars on the road, warning you if there's any potential collision risk. In the event that you don't react, the car brakes automatically to avoid or mitigate an accident.

Smart Parking Assist System

To make things even easier, we've integrated a convenient Smart Parking Assist System. Not only will it help you to find the right size parking space, but feel free to let it take over and steer the car right into the space for you.

Advanced Smart Cruise Control

This intelligent active safety technology acts just like a cruise control function, until its sensors detect a vehicle or obstacle ahead - then automatically decelerate or even stop to preserve a safe distance and avoid collisions.

Around view monitor

Enjoy the sensation of having eyes everywhere - thanks to the Around View Monitor with four cameras that lets you look in all directions as you manoeuvre when parking.

(1) Autonomous Emergency Braking System

The Autonomous Emergency Braking System (AEBS) is an assistance system and does not relieve the driver from his/her responsibility to safely operate the vehicle at any time. The driver still has to adapt his/her driving behaviour to his/her personal driving capabilities, to the legal requirements and to the overall road and traffic conditions. AEBS is not designed to drive the vehicle autonomously. For further information, please refer to the owner’s manual.
