Regional Fleet Sales Manager

Your responsibilities:


  • Execute the European fleet strategy, further defining Pan European guidelines, coordinating countries’ activities, ensuring the respect of the implementation and increasing Kia volume and share
  • Support the countries in achieving local business plan, organizing visits, meetings and review, validating local activities (focusing on fixed/variable spending and selected fleet organization), collecting monthly results, highlighting risks and developing volume opportunities
  • Manage the relation with main Pan European Operational/Full Service leasing companies, through regularly meeting, stable communication and signature of agreements, with the objective to achieve a competitive pricing. To also involve sales force and potential customers in international and local fleet event (paying attention on product presentation and test drive)
  • Regularly visit international customers improving the participation of KME to International Tenders, completely managing the RFP/RFQ (local discount policies, European bonus, fleet product specs, necessary documents etc.).

Brand development

  • Track, protect and fix challenging targets for Kia models residual values, tracking and evaluating main items influencing it, managing the relation with main residual value influencers, collaborating with the countries, Kia R&D centre and Marketing in order to develop precise action plans, supervising countries activities and improving residual value across Europe
  • Increase KIA awareness and consideration into the fleet market, increasing Kia visibility on relevant Fleet & Remarketing media, participating to European conference / workshops and seminars (preferably as speaker) and assisting Kia Marketing to develop an innovative and structured media plan
  • Build a stable relation with fleet customers, regularly visiting them, maintaining and developing a European database, presenting the new products and inviting to test drive (or other Kia events) also circulating useful information (Kia Fleet & Remarketing newsletters).

Used Cars development

  • Support trade-in and new cars sales, implementing the KIA Approved program across Europe, expanding its content, collecting valid and useful Used Cars information (European data base) and bringing the dealer network to the optimal value of KPIs, fundamental to have a profitable Used Cars business
  • Assess, control and supervise the Buy Back activities and process of the different countries, bringing them to improve efficiency and professionalism, respecting budget allocation and Kia guidelines in terms of stock, sales channels and dealer pre-commitment

Your profile:

  • University degree in Economics, with main focus on Sales & Marketing 
  • Between 8-10 years in automotive industry (preferable in car manufacture or leasing companies) in an international role in Fleet & Remarketing
  • Expert in new technologies (Internet, I-Pod etc.) 
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); an additional European language constitutes an advantage
  • Good personal computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and mainframe
  • Sales expertise and talent conjugated with good communication skills 
  • Good analytical and “costing” approach, with great flexibility to adapt and resolve issue
  • Ability to work in team managing different cultures
  • Great planner with capability to “deliver” within deadlines
  • Dynamic, self motivated, determined; results and targets “oriented”
  • Able to manage resistances and oppositions, finding solutions within the constrictions
  • Willingness to frequent business trips
