Manager Studio Engineer in Design (m/f)

In our European Kia design studio in Frankfurt / Main, Germany we are looking for a highly motivated, creative Studio Engineer to reinforce our well-equipped European studio.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Realization of technical specifications and guidelines for all Design Models of the European Design Center
  • Technical consultant for internal teams Interior- und Exterior Design with the ability to explain requirements, technical preconditions and laws in German and English
  • Research and benchmarking of competitors‘ developments and identification of technical solutions as well as their potential internal realization
  • Responsible for the communication and coordination and alignment between Engineers, Designers, Modelers within the European Design Center and with the Korean parent company
  • Application of acquired know-how when suggestion solutions and Design requirements for realizing the technical specifications

 

Your profile:

  • Certified in engineering, ideally mechanical engineering or automotive engineering
  • Mind. 5 years professional experience in construction or engineering, preferably in an automobile Design department or construction department
  • Experience in managing direct reports and functional reports
  • Solid CAD-knowledge (Catia V5 preferred)
  • Initiative, multicultural and structured work style
  • German and English, verbal and writing
