We were also very proud to showcase the new Kia Optima Sportswagon, which pairs tourer cargo space and versatility with design refinements for an even sportier look – together with a high-class, hi-tech cabin for maximum in-car comfort and enjoyment.

The evolved exterior design makes a bold impression with dynamic and bold new highlights including a dual-layered front grille framed by full LED headlamps and dazzling “Ice-Cube” LED Daytime Running Lights, new 17” two-tone alloy wheels and stylish rear LED Daytime Running Lights. This powerful appeal is matched with refined self-assured styling and a high-quality feel inside both cabins. More ergonomic than ever, the interiors welcome the driver and passengers alike with a range of soft-touch materials including full black leather upholstery. With its stylish new GT-inspired design features such as the high-gloss black and chrome contoured radiator grille, unique GT-Line 17-inch alloy wheels, and striking ‘ice-cube’ LED fog lamps, the exterior styling of the new Kia Rio GT Line is the epitome of sporty refinement, conveying an assertive presence on the road that really stands out from the crowd. Add to this the stunning front bumper, the new rear bumper with twin exhaust tips, a chrome window trim, gloss black roof spoiler and sill highlights, and you have a car with a dynamic boldness in the finest gran turismo tradition, that simply begs to be driven.
A CABIN FOR PASSIONATE PERFECTIONISTS
The interior merges the Rio’s modern styling, sculptural forms and ergonomics with a series of unique GT-Line features – resulting in a cabin with a contemporary, chic and sporty feel to match the more athletic exterior. Just some of these sportier details that enhance the in-car experience include seats finished in eye-catching black synthetic leather and cloth with contrast grey stitching, a stunning black carbon-fibre-feel dash, and a sporty D-Cut steering wheel. On top of all this, both the driver and passengers benefit from this being one of the most spacious cabins in its class.
SAFER AND MORE CONNECTED THAN EVER BEFORE
A firm emphasis has also been placed on packing this latest Rio with the most advanced technological innovations – like the 7.0-inch ‘floating’ touchscreen HMI with navigation system, full smartphone integration, and a rear-view parking camera. It is also fitted with a host of technologies that make it the safest B-segment car Kia has ever made. They include the FCA system, which uses a long-range radar detection system to detect potential collisions with other vehicles or pedestrians, Lane Departure Warning (LDW), which alerts the driver if they stray out of their lane without the use of indicators, and Kia’s new Driver Attention Warning (DAW) system, designed to combat distracted or drowsy drivers.
