Regional Market Manager

Your responsibilities:

  • Key point of contact and interaction between allocated markets and Kia Motors Europe
  • Develop mid and long range business plans with markets including all aspects of Sales, Network, Marketing, Aftersales and Finance
  • Negotiate a yearly business plan with distributors to optimise volume and profit for all stake holders
  • In conjunction with markets ensure achievement of annual BP/RP on volume and profit
  • Liaise with production planning team to optimise markets allocation whilst ensuring appropriate stock cover
  • In association with business development team ensure all markets have an appropriate network development strategy and operational plan
  • Obtain sales and order forecasts by month to optimize planning activities
  • Manage and monitor plan and result for registrations, sales, MOS and order data
  • Analyzing and reporting business performance by month, quarter, and half of the year
  • Together with markets develop plans where required to recover volume and profit
  • Order & sales management such as collecting, checking, managing, and reporting
  • Regular monitoring of price competitiveness by model in conjunction with product marketing team
  • Communicate FOB prices, support and price changes on model level

Your profile:

  • University degree or equivalent in Business Administration
  • 6 – 8 years experience preferably in Automotive business
  • Experience of managing across different markets
  • Experience of managing for growth and demonstrates strong target driven orientation
  • Good computer skills (MS-Office), especially excel and power point
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken), suitable languages advantageous
  • Reporting skills and presentation skills
  • Negotiation skills for commercial discussions at senior management level
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and determined attitude
  • Ability to work and adapt in a young intercultural environment
  • Highly adaptable, flexible and able to deal positively with uncertainty
  • Consistently demonstrates the highest level of integrity
