The Amanti comes with eight airbags positioned throughout the vehicle. They include dual front advanced airbags, front and rear seat mounted side airbags and full-length side curtain airbags. The eight airbags are part of Amanti's advanced supplement restrains system (SRS). This airbag system monitors the severity of an impact, the presence of a front passenger and seat-belt use, and then controls airbag inflation accordingly. For maximum protection, always wear your seat belt.
A LATCH system, including anchors on the back of the second-row seats, makes it easy to secure child seats.
For extra protection, all windows are designed to re-open if they detect and object while closing.
One touch auto-up/down windows, door locks, heated outside mirrors and sunroof are each are each controlled by the touch of a button.
Each door is reinforced with steel beams to absorb impact energy and deflect side-impact force. Both A and B pillars are reinforced to help minimize damage.
