IRVINE, Calif., May 1, 2007 – Kia Motors America (KMA) today announced April sales of 26,007 units and year-to-date sales of 99,610 units, a 7.5-percent increase over the same period last year. Sales for the month were led by the Kia Spectra boasting its best month of 2007 at 7,203 units.

The Optima midsize sedan also had its best month of the year in April with 4,538 units, a 20.3-percent increase over the same month last year, while the Rio compact sedan followed suit with its best month of 2007 selling 3,279 units.
